Method
– The ‘absorbent sampler’ is just held in the urine stream.
Convenience
– It can be conducted anytime in the day, as opposed to some tests that require the sample of the urine to be taken first thing in the morning.
– There no handling of urine required, i.e. you don’t need to collect a urine sample in a container. So no messy work!
– It doesn’t require refrigeration. You don’t need to bother about the temperature of the testing device, unlike some other tests.

– Has recently been launched and is therefore available in select cities only.
Price
– Rs 150. This is expensive, specially considering the prices of other pregnancy test kits. Even the laboratory testing is cheaper! The convenience and the ease of usage offered by the product may well outweigh its high cost.

– Urine sample is collected. A dropper is used to deposit some urine on the testing card.
Convenience
– It requires refrigeration. You have to first bring down the temperature of the testing device to room temperature.
– Urine needs to be first collected, which is often messy.
