2 onions
¼ kilo paneer/nutrela
1 tbsp oil
2 burger buns
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Chop one onion finely, and slice the other into rings.
2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the chopped onions gently until transparent
3. Remove from the pan and mix with the paneer/nutrela. Add salt and pepper.
4. Divide in two and form each into a round cutlet.
5. Shallow fry these and the onion rings over moderate heat, adding oil if necessary.
6. Slit the buns in half and apply some butter on the cut side. Lightly toast the buttered side on a hot girdle (tawa).
7. Sandwich the burger cutlets and onion rings between the two pieces of the bun and serve immediately.
