Chocolate
Walnut Cake recipe

¾ cup powdered sugar
2
tbsp cocoa powder
½ cup flour (maida)
1 tsp baking powder
¼ cup milk
½ cup oil
½ tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp chopped walnuts

Grease
the dish. |

Sift
flour with baking powder and cocoa. Keep aside. |

Mix
1 tsp. of flour with the chopped walnuts and keep aside. |

Add
essence and oil. Mix well. |

Fold
in the flour gradually till all the flour is used. Add milk
to get a slightly thinner than soft dropping consistency. Beat
gently. If you are using an electric beater, beat at a low speed. |

Pour
into the dish and Micro high uncovered for 4 minutes. |

Let
stand 4-5 minutes. |

Let
stand 5-10 minutes before removing from baking dish. |
| Tip
- Use a 5-6" round, 4-5" deep dish. Fill it
only half. Don't use a cake tin. Use a round dish, not
a square or rectangular one. Do not microwave for a longer
than 4 minutes even if the surface of the cake does not
feel firm and it appears wet. |
