Cauliflower Cheese recipe - easy dinner recipes

1 cauliflower (cut into small florets)
25 gm butter
25 gm flour (maida)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
125 ml milk
75 gm cheese (grated)

1. Cook the cauliflower flowerets for 15 minutes in boiling salted water.
2. Save 125 ml of this water and throw the rest. Mix the reserved liquid with the milk.
3. Melt butter over low heat.
4. Stir in flour and cook gently.
5. Add the milk mixture, slowly stirring until the sauce thickens.
6. Add cheese.
7. Pour the sauce over the cauliflower and serve.

Tip - If there are lumps in the sauce, pass through a fine sieve.
