Make your own Jigsaw Puzzle

Large Magazine Pictures
Thick cardboard
Glue
Scissors

1. Choose pictures from which you would like to make puzzles.
2. Cut out the pictures.
3. Use a strong glue to stick the picture onto the cardboard.
4. Leave to dry.
5. Cut it into puzzle shapes (As your children gain mastery of the puzzles, the puzzles can have smaller pieces)

Large photos of our children, the family or the house can be used to make interesting puzzles. Your children will love doing a puzzle of their face one of the family or perhaps their bedroom. Use enlarged prints of the photographs for the puzzles.
Your child will love to make Jigsaw puzzles to give to his friends as return presents on his birthday.

Friendship Bands

Embroidery threads or Wool in different colors

1. Cut strands of different colors. You will require four times the finished length.
2. Place them in the order you want the final combination.
3. Tie a knot at the top.
4. Take the first thread and using it tie two knots on the second thread.
5. Use the same thread to tie two knots on the third thread.
6. Similarly tie double knots with this thread on all the other strands.
7. Now start with the second thread. Tie double knots with this on all the other threads.
8. Continue with this process with rest of the threads till you reach the end.
9. Your Friendship Band is ready.

Tiny beads can be also inserted in the threads.
